My First Chinese New Year

恭喜恭喜！Happy 牛 Year! While this is the season to munch on festive cookies & Bak Gwa, I didn't get to savour any since I only had 2 miserable pearlies! Nevertheless, I had a great time licking all the 红包 I received from the elderly.

I had my first renioun dinner at Tai Ma's house. Look at the spread on the table! Mummy had to struggle with filling her own stomach & feeding me at the same time.

 

年初一：We kick start the day by visiting Tai Ma. I had my lunch there, then we proceed to visit Ah Ma at the crematorium.















I met Baby Nana at one of the relative's house. Nana weighs the same as me at 3 months old. Looks like I got to eat more to catch up :)

 








年初二：I spent my day at my Grand Auntie's house.

With me around this year, Mummy can no longer enjoy her meal in peace, nor stick to the gambling table whole day long. Nevertheless, Mummy will still grabs the opportunity to win some 奶粉钱 when I am taking my nap :P

My Christmas Present - A Playground

Mummy bought me a play yard as a Christmas present! I love this colourful and fun-filled playground. Mummy will be extending the play area further when I am bigger so that I can crawl around in my playground.

A Present from my Godmother

 

干妈 Wen Shan bought me a Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Learning Puppy! Besides my pet dog Pom Pom, I now have another dog as companion. I can learn A-B-Cs, 1-2-3s and parts of the body, plus sing along to 10 favourite songs and games.

My Mummy is Sick!

No mood to update my blog! My dear Mummy is SICK for the past 1 week. She has been coughing non-stop since last Saturday & there's no sign of recovery after visiting the doctor 3 times!! To make things worse, she got a runny nose since 2 days ago! Mummy can endure the sleepless night and endless coughing, but what's making her frantic is that she cannot come near me for fear that her coughing & flu will pass on to me. Poor Mummy can only stand a distance away from me & put on a mask everywhere she goes in the house. I can only pray & hope that Mummy get well soon..

My 3rd Jab (DTPa+IPV+Hib)

It has been a busy & tiring week for Mummy.

Here's a recollection of what happen over the past 5 days.

I had my 3rd Jab on Monday.
As usual, I do not have any reaction to the jab, Mummy called me Ms Invincible!

Fruit Puree

Ingredients
2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

Steps

Put the chopped apples into a saucepan. Add some water.
Cover and cook over low heat until tender (6 to 8 minutes).
Blend the fruit into a puree.
Serve lukewarm.

Food fact
Apples contain pectin, which can slow things down if your baby has loose stools.
Pectin is a soluble fiber that also helps to stimulate bacteria in the gut and helps a baby's bowels to start processing solids efficiently.
