Happy 1st Lunar Birthday

Today is my 1st lunar birthday!

My sick Mummy was at home today.

We played an interesting game that predicts my future!

Here's how it goes...

Mummy lined some items on the floor,

And I am supposed to crawl to pick any one of my choice.

The sequence of the first 3 items I picked:

#1 : Money

#2 : Gold

#3 : Book

Guess I will be a banker when I grow up!

Mummy says to print her some dollar notes to spend when I become a banker.

This is Mummy's first Mother's Day,
Mummy spent the whole day taking care of me, as I was sick.
Nevertheless, she found time to bake cookies when I slept for hours after medication.
She baked dozens of heart-shaped butter cookies,
and Daddy help to frost the lovely designs on the cookies.

Mummy’s only wish on this special day is that I get well soon to savor her cookies.

Princess Wong is Sick

The weather was nice on Vesak Day. Hence, Daddy & Mummy brought me for a swim. I had a splashing good time there.

What comes after the joy? It's the horrible viral fever! I was burning hot at 39 degrees Celsius that evening. Till today, I have yet to recover. My temperature fluctuates like the current stock market, going up and down every other hour.

Ah Ma suspects that my fever could be due to teething, cause my gums were swollen. Probably all my pearlies sprouting out at one go. Let's hope that I can recover soon.

Happy Birthday to 太公！

Mummy made birthday cupcakes for 太公！

Doesn't look very nicely done,

but considering it's Mummy's first try scripting chinese characters with icing,

give her some encouragement lah,

she can do it better next time!
I showed Mummy my support by finishing half a cupcake :)

Heard that the grand-aunties are fighting over the '发' tiles,

so interesting.

Mummy purposely gave the photos an 'antique' look,

to reminisce the olden days...

太公's childrens has grown up...

his grandchildrens has also grown up...

And he had his first great-grandchildren,

and that's me! Princess Wong!

Starry Pink Cake

Mummy had this baking craze out of the blue.

She baked a butter cake for Tai Ma and Ah Gong on Saturday.

Mummy decorated the cake with pink icing and sprinkle it with colourful stars.

After eating Mummy's cake,

I watch my favourite Baby Einstein show at Tai Ma's house.

Mummy could have bought a ready one for me...
But, she wanted it to be special...
Hence, she handmade it!

Not very fantastic lah, but's it the thought that counts right?
Mummy's gonna stock up more hair bows for me soon.
